MIAMI.- El Gobierno estadounidense asegur\u00f3 este martes que la entrega de ayuda a Venezuela tras los terremotos ha sido \u00abconfiable y r\u00e1pida\u00bb y que EE.UU. transitar\u00e1 de la fase de b\u00fasqueda y rescate a la de recuperaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El encargado de negocios de Washington en Caracas, John Barrett<\/strong>, asever\u00f3 en una conferencia virtual que \u00abEstados Unidos ha emprendido una respuesta para los terremotos\u00bb, que ha sido \u00abla respuesta m\u00e1s grande en la historia de Venezuela\u00bb con una \u00abfuerte s\u00f3lida red de asistencia sobre el terreno\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abEstoy muy orgulloso de esta red y estoy muy orgulloso de informar que estamos viendo una entrega confiable, r\u00e1pida, que ha estado llegando con m\u00e1s de 310 millones de d\u00f3lares gastados hasta la fecha\u00bb<\/strong><\/em>, expres\u00f3 Barrett en una llamada con el comandante del Comando Sur del Ej\u00e9rcito de Estados Unidos (Southcom), Francis Donovan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barrett insisti\u00f3 en que el Gobierno de Rodr\u00edguez ha \u00abcumplido con todas las solicitudes para poder movilizar esta gran respuesta humanitaria\u00bb<\/em> de Estados Unidos, que incluye 1,5 millones de libras (680 toneladas) de insumos y la distribuci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 60.000 paquetes o \u2018kits\u2019 de asistencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
